Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

Are linens provided ?

Yes, the loan of sheets, towels and dish towels are included in the rental price.

Do I have to clean the gite? Is cleaning included in the price ?

To ensure the quality of the reception, we always include a cleaning fee in the rental price. The number of hours of cleaning is defined in advance in the description of the gîtes. However, guests are responsible for tidying up the gîte and ensuring that the original layout of the furniture is respected. All personal belongings, food and rubbish must be removed from the gîte before departure. In the event of non-compliance, additional cleaning hours may be charged. The price per hour is displayed in the gîte's communication documents.

Are pets allowed ?

We love animals and offer you the opportunity to travel with them. They are accepted in the adapted gîtes (not all gîtes can welcome your cats and dogs). The pet-friendly nature of the gîtes is mentioned in the description of each gîte. We ask our guests to respect the "animal welcome" guide.

Do you have a garden for children ?

All the Kerouzec gîtes are unique and adapted to the history of the place.
The gîte la Métairie Saint Michel de Quinipily has a large enclosed garden with games, a pretty caravan and a sandpit. The children are always happy to play there. The garden is sheltered from the wind, so it is very pleasant to play badminton. Do your children or adults want to play with a ball? You will find a place for it here in all simplicity.
At the gîtes La Vedette and Le Malabar, by the sea, the outdoor terraces allow you to relax and play in the fresh air. To run or climb, nothing could be easier, the beach is 300 m away and public parks are nearby. The park with games for children under 12 is shaded in the morning. Opposite, the teenagers will appreciate the skate park.
At the City-gîte Le Victor in Vannes, the playground for young children is located along the ramparts. If you go to the port, you will find a nice playground for children under 12, a merry-go-round that has made generations of children dream, and a brand new skate park. If you go to the peninsula of Vannes, in Conleau, you will discover games, a petanque ground, wooded areas for picnics, a seawater swimming pool, boats, restaurants, and the path for walks. All the guests are delighted with this magical place in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan and the children hardly want to leave.

Can we travel by train / public transport ?

Yes, all our gîtes are accessible by public transport. However, the gîtes in Port-Louis and Vannes are the most suitable for a car-free holiday. In Vannes, you can visit with the bus network, take the boat to the islands of the Gulf. In Port-Louis, you can get around with the bus network, and even with the bus boats of the public transport network.

Do you have a television ?

Which payment methods are accepted ?

We prefer online payments by credit card. However, on request, we accept bank transfers and holiday vouchers (AMCV).

Check-in - from what time can we access the gîte ?

Arrivals take place between 4 pm and 8 pm. A few days before your arrival, we will send you practical information by email. You can come by public transport or by car.

Check-out - When can we leave? Who will be our contact to return the keys and collect the deposit ?

Departures are organised with the caretaker of your gîte. They are between 9 and 11 am. However, if you wish to leave during the night or early in the morning, this is possible. The caretaker will do the inventory of fixtures alone and will release the deposit once the cleaning is done.

Do we need to notify our arrival time and who do we notify ?

In order to welcome you in the best way and to organize ourselves, it is always better to inform the concierge of your gite. The contact details of the concierge in charge of your accommodation are sent to you by email before your stay. Didn't you receive them? Do not hesitate to write to us.

We read that a deposit of €400 is required. Is an envelope with the money suitable ?

We welcome guests from Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg and all over Europe. We are aware that we do not have a bank cheque as a guarantee. Therefore, we accept deposits by bank transfer or cash. In case of a cash deposit, a receipt will be given to you at the time of the inventory of fixtures.
